Dia Company is a limited liability Company registered under the laws of the Republic of Uganda on February 11th 2005. Immediately after its incorporation, Dia Company embarked on TRANSPORT BUSINESS alone Kampala Adjumani road and later expanded its business to include the routes to south Sudan, Congo and Kenya. As the transport business grew, in 2007, Dia Company ventured in oil sector by establishing a fuel station (Singaitta Energies) in south Sudan, at Kapoeta Town importing between 42,000-80,000 Litres of diesel every month. The establishment of this business was a turning point for Dia company since it had the only service station in the area supplying UNHR, WEE CDoT, ADEO, GTZ and other national NG0s. With a booming business opportunities in south Sudan, there was a high human traffic along Kenya-Kapoeta-Juba route which resulted into high demands for accommodation and restaurant/bar facilities. Dia Company ventured into apartments, restaurant/bar industry by establishing "Singaitta Apartment" with 15 bed capacity. However, in 2011, Dia Company made a strategic decision to invest in agro business "food processing industry". The company has procured and installed one of the most efficient, state of art maize milling technology with 78T/24 production capacity at Adjumani town in Uganda northern. This is one of the largest milling facilities in Uganda and the first of its kind in northern Uganda. From this modest beginning, Dia Company Intends to become the industry leader surpassing its competitor in quality and innovation. Dia Company's philosophy is to establish dominant presence in any sector it operates or ventures in.
